WHAT TO EXPECT

Our client’s safety and satisfaction is our top priority. Please read the FAQs below for what to expect during your visit.

FAQs

What do I need to know before my salt therapy session?

Please arrive 10-15 minutes early. No food, drink, cellphones or personal items such as purses or bags are permitted in the salt rooms. Lockers are provided for your convenience. Please silence cellphones when placing inside locker.

How do I prepare for my salt therapy session?

Call or schedule an appointment online. Plan to wear comfortable clothing – preferably light colors, as the salt can show more on darker colored clothes. Please remove shoes before laying on loungers or chairs. As a courtesy to others who are scent sensitive, please refrain from wearing scents (perfume, cologne, smoke, etc.) during your visit. Door will not be opened after a session begins. If you are late, we will not disrupt relaxation time for guests already in the room, however we will make every accommodation possible to add you into the next available session.

Please do not attend a session if you think that you are actively sick.

What is my salt therapy experience going to be like?

Lay back, grab a blanket, relax and enjoy the benefits of dry salt therapy. During your session, read, meditate or just nap.

How can I expect to feel during my session?

Your sinuses may drain, you may feel a slight tickle in your throat, or cough- all are normal responses. We are all here for healing, and be assured, no bacteria can survive or transmit to you in this super-salty environment. Salt therapy can have a naturally relaxing effect on your body, so expect to unwind and decompress.

What do you clean your rooms with?

We clean all of our rooms and surfaces with an all-natural, original all-in-one multi-purpose cleaner, deodorizer, sanitizer and EPA registered disinfectant with ZERO toxic chemicals. Just as effective as bleach with no rinsing needed. Green Seal Certified, SkinSafe by the Mayo Clinic and Carbon Neutral.

How will I feel after my session?

Many experience the draining of their sinuses right away or hours later. You may feel lighter and renewed – as if you’ve floated into a euphoric state of relaxation. You can also expect to experience a good night’s rest after a session. You may feel some relief after one session but for the best results, 2-3 times a week is recommended.  Please hydrate after each session.

Is salt therapy safe for children?

Yes! Our children’s suite is designed to provide kids with a safe, interactive, playful environment while also receiving therapeutic relief for sinus and respiratory conditions like ear infections, asthma, and allergies. We ask that children wear clean white socks into the salt box, to preserve the purity of the salt.
